1 Kings 2:28-46 - Solomon Kills Joab

Solomon shows what type of a leader he is in the early days of his reign:

-Solomon ignores Joab's pleas for mercy
-Solomon orders Joab to be killed in the Lord's tent
-Why didn't David just kill Joab? Why did David make Solomon do it?
-Solomon targets Shimei
-Shimei stays out of trouble for several years, but then breaks the king's
command
