Oct. 28, 1964 - Here is a clip from today’s press conference by Timothy Leary and Richart Alpert, two former Harvard lecturers, about their use and study of the hallucinogenic drug LSD. Both men were dismissed from Harvard in April 1963 for being involved in LSD experiments. They now live in a 64-room house on a New York estate and conduct weekend seminars to counteract the “extraordinary narrowing of human consciousness” that results from “early accidental imprints.”
