One suspect in Miami County slaying captured in California, second suspect remains on the run

ndiana State Police say one of two suspects in the slaying of a man whose body was found on a northern Indiana trail has been arrested in southern California. They say a police tactical team took 21-year-old Ethan Cain of Marion into custody Monday morning at a campground in Imperial County, California. Cain faces charges of murder, obstruction of justice, and theft in the death of 22-year-old Drake Allan Smith of Summitville. His body was found May 19 in a wooded area on the Okie Pinokie Trail east of Peru.
