Pixar Cut the Gay Stuff from INSIDE OUT 2 | Lesson Learned From LIGHTYEAR

The latest Disney and Pixar film, Inside Out 2, has gone on to become the highest grossing animated film of all time and now it is being learned the studio deliberately made it not gay.

According to Pixar employees the studio had them working extra hard in the leadup to the release in order to re-edit and touch up scenes to remove elements that could be interpreted as gay. This is a stark contrast to one of Pixar’s previous movies, Lightyear, which boasted about having a gay couple in the film. Seeing as how Lightyear bombed while Inside Out 2 succeeded it would appear Disney may learn what it takes in order to make a profitable movie.
