Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense for information on the communications regarding the deaths of 13 American servicemen at “Abbey Gate” outside the Kabul airport during the withdrawal from Afghanistan on August 26, 2021 (Judicial Watch Inc. vs U.S. Department of Defense (No. 1:24-cv-02598)).
