‘You’re not going to believe this’: Trump’s words to Vance following 2nd assassination attempt

JD Vance has revealed details of the conversation he had with Donald Trump, just minutes after the former president was the target of an assassination attempt, the second in as many months.

Just 10 minutes after Ryan Wesley Routh was spotted in the bushes surrounding Trump’s Mar-a-Lago golf club, Vance reportedly got a call from his boss. ‘JD, you’re not going to believe this, but they tried to do it again,’ Trump reportedly said.

‘No, you’re joshing me. But, what’s going on here sir?’ Vance replied, to which Trump said, ‘I was playing golf and the Secret Service found somebody who was trying to shoot me,’ adding that he was fine but ‘pissed off’ that he hadn't been able to finish his golf game.
