Sophia Stewart is the author and copyright owner of both the Terminator and Matrix franchises. Stewart wrote the original science fiction book and script The Third Eye Matrix in the early 1980s, which was later adapted into the Matrix and Terminator movie series and trilogy.
Stewart's work was hidden from the public until ABC News broke the story in 2003. In 2014, Stewart won $3.5 billion in liens and almost half a million dollars in attorney fees against the California defendants and her former lawyers.
