In this first episode of Raw Speech, I sit down to talk about something that’s been on my mind for a while—the privilege that so many people in first-world countries don’t realize they have. Coming from South Africa, I’ve seen the stark differences between living in a developed country and the struggles people face in third-world nations. It baffles me how many young people in the West underestimate the opportunities around them and instead use their environment as an excuse for why they can’t succeed.

In this video, I share some personal experiences and challenge you to stop letting your surroundings define your potential. If you’re living in a country with access to resources, technology, and stability, you’re already way ahead of so many others. The path to success is there, but it requires effort and a shift in mindset. Stop blaming your circumstances, and start focusing on the action you can take today.
