WISELY SEEKING JOY THAT IS FOREVERMORE

Psalm 16:8-9 New King James Version
8 I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will [a]rest in hope.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

I'm finding it really interesting, that reading this Psalm, as well as having just started this study in the book of James, just go hand in hand right now with what it means to seek and find wise joy. To want to find joy in a wise fashion, and not in anything unhealthy, but also to want to seek that joy every day, just really motivates me, to want to seek God first in my life, and to do what Philippians 4:4 states, “Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I say REJOICE!”
I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional are so encouraging and challenging to my heart today, and I'd like to share them with all of you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them.

How does finding wise joy bless your life?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this Psalm, as well as other passages of scripture about joy, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what i share with you, helps you to see the joy in the journey in your life, and that you will want to try to find wise joy in everything that you do. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges and motivates you to want to find ways to find joy in God.

As you read Psalm 16, how can it inspire you to name the ways you find joy in God?

I pray tonight, that whatever trial, hardship, difficulty, trauma, or whatever it is that you were experiencing right now, that you purposely choose to seek, find, and live out the wise joy that is found only in Jesus Christ. Ask God every day, to help you find joy even in the most difficult of days, to remember that suffering does produce perseverance; perseverance produces character; and character, hope. Most of all, ask God to help you pursue, seek, and go after the truly wise joy that is found only in Him.
