SQUARE payment processor wants me to verify myself 3x in 2 months!

I currently have an account with the Square payment processor that I opened in September 2023. I had no issue until August 2024 where I was emailed 3 times in 2 months about me verifying my identity.

I don't know exactly why they're doing this to me, but the items they are requesting are the same items they already have on file about me.

Speaking to over 10 of their agents today did not help but when I told the last agent I'm making their bad reputation public (that I'm doing now), they decided to escalate my case.

Apparently someone else had a similar issue and when he posted his issue in public on the hacker news, it gained alot of attention and square stopped being harsh.

If this continues, then I may have to look for a new payment processor.

I start to wonder if they fired all the good people and only hired those fresh out of high school that don't know what to do.
