From Manipur to IDF: Indian Mercenaries on the Frontline

Natanel Touthang, a Manipuri tribal, migrated to Israel in 2018, joining the IDF's Israel Ground Force. Injured by Hezbollah shelling, he received treatment in Haifa. Over 85,000 trained mercenaries from Manipur and Mizoram, alongside 2000 Indian army reservists, actively serve in the IDF. Facilitated by Degel Menashe, a project funded by the IDF, Indian recruits respond to Israel's call, playing a crucial role in potential ground offensives.
