There’s Always Time for a Hug 🫂

In a world that’s always in a rush, we often forget what really matters.

Today, I watched a video of a young boy run outside as his dad was leaving for work, arms outstretched, asking for one more hug. Without hesitation, the father stopped his truck, came back, and embraced his son like it was the most important thing in the world—because it was.

That hug wasn’t just a gesture. It was a reminder.

We live as if tomorrow is guaranteed, but it isn’t.

Coming home after work isn’t promised.

Our only guarantee is how we choose to show up in the moments we have.

So if it means stopping to hug your child, your partner, your friend—do it.

I make it a habit to hug my family out of the blue—whether we’re shopping at Target, Macy's, walking through the airport, at the mall, or traveling the world for speaking events.

Every morning starts with the same words: “Where’s my hug?” Because we never know when it’s going to be the last.

Forget the judgment of others.

Who cares if someone thinks affection in public makes you soft?

Show your love. Make every moment count because in the end, those moments will be everything.
