Swiss Alps Sailplane Mixed Reality

This is a just a casual virtual flight in Microsoft Flight Simulator, following a similar route in the Swiss Alps, that I had had the opportunity to fly around for-realzzz as a passenger.

Part of the reason for making this video, was because Microsoft/Asobo had released better scenery for this part of the world recently, and I thought it might be interesting to compare with real footage.

I might follow up with MSFS 2024 to see if the steep gradients are textured better; but at least it's nice having relatively high resolution terrain mesh currently.

The glider I filmed from was a Duo Discus XLT.
