In this episode, Will and Trevor talk to Jon West Founder of Texas Blockchain Council. Jon West has 30+ years of software product development experience. Most of his career has been focused on creating software products used globally by accountants and lawyers. He spent two years leading Bitcoin/Blockchain R&D for Thomson Reuters. Jon is also leading the charge with the Dallas Blockchain meetup and the McKinney Bitcoin meetup.
They spend some time talking about what Web5 is and how it originally came out of a joke around the poor development and execution of Web3. At the end of the episode, Jon explains his startup tbLEND, and how they are changing the dynamic of credit, debt, and lending. This was a really informational episode and we hope you enjoy it.
