We Print Money; Jerome Powell

This is the Chairman of the Federal Reserve admitting that the Fed "prints money". When he says "money", he really means "Federal Reserve Notes". Federal Reserve Notes are the Federal Reserve's brand of currency (not money). But Powell's words beg four big questions; 1.If the US can print currency to pay debt, why does it collect taxes? 2.Why doesn't the US print up some currency to pay off the so-called national debt? 3.Why is the Fed always able to print currency for wars, but not for many other causes? 4.Can anyone print their own currency?
