Interview with Jennifer Caughey

Jennifer Caughey is the Republican candidate running for justice on the Texas 1st Court of Appeals Place 2. She was appointed by Governor Abbott to serve as justice on the Texas 1st Court of Appeals and served in that capacity until 2018. She graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School. She spent the last five years leading Jackson Walker’s appellate practice. Her appellate work has been recognized by Chambers, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and many others. Her three commitments are to: (1) Always apply the law faithfully; (2) Give every case time and respect; and (3) Efficiently issue clear opinions.
