About Today's Guest: Dr. Robert Lewis
Dr. Robert Lewis is a pastor, writer, and speaker. He is the founder of the original Men’s Fraternity. He earned his degree in management from the University of Arkansas in 1971. Then, in 1977, Robert earned both a M.A. in New Testament Greek and a M.Div. from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. In 1985, he received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, California. In 1990, Robert developed the original Men’s Fraternity curriculum that has impacted more than one million men worldwide. It is used in churches, college campuses, corporate boardrooms, and correctional facilities. Men’s Fraternity has also inspired the creation of 33 The Series, which is a study of authentic manhood modeled by Jesus Christ. Some of Dr. Lewis’ books include, "Raising a Modern-Day Knight," "Real Family Values," and "Culture Shift: Transforming Your Church From the Inside Out." Today, Robert is still very involved in local church ministry and serves on a number of boards including The Bob Buford Institute. He is also a senior advisor for Leadership Network. Robert and his wife, Sherard, have been married for over 50 years, and they have four grown children and three grandchildren.
