It's a sad thing for any of the children of Israel to look unto the grave in order to find freedom from the oppressor (and "it's a sad thing" is an understatement) but, even now, it's a reality for many of our people who have no knowledge of self and no hope for the future; the many forms of self-destruction that we see the black slave descendants/the Israelites indulging in all around us is a manifestation of this. Jeremiah 8:3-5 "...death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family (Israel), which remain in all the places whither I have driven them, says YAH of hosts. Moreover you shall say unto them, Thus says YAH; Shall they fall, and not arise? Shall he turn away, and not return? Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast deceit, they refuse to return." We must return to YAH and the covenant we made with Him; we must acknowledge that we've sinned against Him and repent. When YAH refers to those "which remain in all the places whither I have driven them" in Jeremiah 8:3-5, He's referring to the descendants of the slaves of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Arab Slave Trade, etc. which remain in the lands of their enemies. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 "I (Moses) call heaven and earth to record this day against you (Israel), that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live: that you may love YAH your Father, and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cleave unto Him: for He is your life, and the length of your days: that you may dwell in the land which YAH sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."
