Michael Mylrea presents a combination that is not typically heard in OT, not cyber physical, but cyber cyber physical biological. Digital transformation is weaving together cyber, physical and biological systems. Michael gives examples of man-in-the-middle bio sequencing and other ways cyber and biological are similar in attacks and defense.

He then talks about the challenges the BIoT community is facing and the help that is needed from the OT security community. For example, the lack of security standards for bioresearch labs who are working with some very dangerous pathogens.
