The Gift of Understanding

I am not sure what is the cultural ethos of other countries, but what is taught a lot in the United States is to be independent. To be able to do everything you can by yourself, without any help.

So when we find out that to accomplish something, we have absolutely nothing to do with it, we do not like it. Well in our following of Jesus we have come to such a situation where we shall see that unless God gives us a gift we will not be able to accomplish understanding who He is.
