IBM starts the decade as the leader in AI research after the creation of “Deep Blue”

Oracle has been using machine learning since Oracle Database 9iR2

2009-2010 - Apple Enters the AI game with the development of “Siri”

2013-2014 - Google starts doing AI research and Also Acquires “DeepMind”

In 2015, Toyota established the **Toyota Research Institute (TRI)** as a wholly-owned subsidiary. [TRI focuses on active vehicle safety, automated driving technologies, robotics, and human amplification technology]

Everything really picks up after 2018, elon musk's tesla starts to boom in 2021, nvidia starts to boom in 2023 and 2024, because all the other players rely on their GPU's
