Northwoods to 9/11

Operation Northwoods was a proposal from the US Military to President Kennedy that consisted of false flag terrorist attacks blamed on Castro as a pretext to manufacture consent for an invasion of Cuba.

While Kennedy shot this plan down (before being shot himself) it seems like the plan might've just been put on the back burner...
