Sometimes, I veer from my subject of interest (Mycology) in favor of helping you understand that medical speaking, we are not in 1970 anymore! Seems to me that drug companies may be manipulating much of what is being done in a physician’s office. Never have so many lab tests, drug prescriptions and surgeries been done. Sadly, doctors pay a huge price, as we have witnessed the past few years, for refusal to accept what drug companies command, as we witnessed during the past few years. While I am not a physician, I try to point you in a direction that is both reasonable and safe. I appreciate you always sharing my advice with your own healthcare provider, as they know your medical history and are better equipped to endorse or disregard my suggestions.
