GARBAGE GAME Dustborn Had Less Than 100 Players on Launch Day!
Dustborn has entered the scene as one of the most disappointing releases this year. Let's just say it—Dustborn is trash. The devs tried to pitch this game as something groundbreaking, but it's just another woke game trying to shove its agenda down our throats. Despite all the hype, Dustborn gameplay is clunky, and the narrative feels more like a propaganda piece than an entertaining story. Even the Dustborn trailer couldn't hide how forced and hollow the game is.
When you compare Dustborn to something like Black Myth Wukong, which has been dominating the charts, the difference is night and day. Black Myth Wukong is giving fans exactly what they want—action-packed, visually stunning gameplay that respects the players. Meanwhile, Dustborn is more concerned with pushing its message of diversity and inclusion than actually creating a good game. It's no surprise that Dustborn is struggling on platforms like Steam and Metacritic.
Let's talk about those numbers for a second. Dustborn is barely breaking 100 concurrent players. That's right—on release day, Dustborn couldn't even hit a decent player count. Compare that to the massive success of Black Myth Wukong, which had 2.2 million concurrent players. It's clear where gamers are spending their time and money, and it’s not on Dustborn.
The developers at Red Thread Games have made it obvious that their priorities are all wrong. Inspired by political events like the 2016 election, Dustborn is more about virtue signaling than gaming. The whole project seems like it was designed in a Sweet Baby Inc. meeting room, with a checklist of diversity and inclusion boxes to tick off.
Dustborn has been labeled the "wokest game ever," and it’s no exaggeration. The story, characters, and even the art style scream Tumblr aesthetics, and it’s failing miserably to connect with gamers. Despite the effort to create a "relevant and thematically timely" game, Dustborn has flopped, proving once again that gamers just want quality content, not forced representation.
With the way things are going, Dustborn is set to join the growing pile of DEI-infested games that nobody asked for and nobody wants to play. The modern audience they’re targeting simply doesn’t exist. Gamers are here for great gameplay and engaging stories, not poorly executed political statements.
If you're looking for a game to invest your time in, avoid Dustborn. It's just another example of how SJW garbage is ruining the gaming industry. Stick to titles that actually respect their audience and deliver on their promises—because Dustborn sure as hell doesn’t.
