My family’s journey during the lockdown was one filled with tough choices and eye-opening experiences. In the Spring and Summer of 2020, the landscape of Los Angeles drastically changed as strict lockdowns and absurd mandates took hold. Beaches were closed, gyms were deemed illegal, and home gatherings were restricted, leading my family to make some tough decisions about our values and personal freedoms. This episode dives deep into how we navigated this time, raising two young daughters, making new friends, and rebelling against overreaching laws, all while living through an Orwellian reality.

I discuss how geography and one's stage of personal awakening greatly influenced our pandemic experiences. Los Angeles became a place where standing up for one’s health and happiness was deemed rebellious. My family’s story is a testament to the human spirit and the fight to hold onto truth, freedom, and sanity in a world turned upside-down.
