The Ultimate BLT | Blackstone Griddles

Jeremy is making The Ultimate BLT with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and a special jalapeño-garlic mayo on toasted ciabatta rolls. A squeeze of lemon and sweet Jersey corn make this meal even better. It’s an easy recipe with bold flavors.

Ingredients
Ciabatta rolls
Thick-cut bacon
Thinly sliced tomato
Shredded romaine lettuce
Duke’s mayonnaise
Diced jalapeños
Diced garlic
Fresh rosemary, chopped
Fresh lemon juice
Jersey corn
Butter (1/4 stick)

Directions
1. Prep the ingredients: slice the tomatoes, shred the romaine lettuce, dice the garlic and jalapeños, and chop the rosemary.

2. Heat the Blackstone griddle to medium and place the diced jalapeños, garlic, and rosemary on the griddle with 1/4 stick of butter. Sauté until the mixture is slightly browned.

3. Scoop half of the sautéed mixture into 3 scoops of mayo and mix well. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and stir.

4. Place the Ciabatta rolls on the griddle in the remaining butter mixture and toast until golden brown. Set aside.

5. Turn your side burner to high and bring a pot of water to a boil for the Jersey corn.

6. Cook 3 slices of bacon per sandwich on the griddle, turning regularly until crispy. Once done, cut each slice in half.

7. Assemble the sandwich: spread the special mayo on the top half of each toasted Ciabatta roll. Layer 3 halved slices of bacon on the bottom, followed by sliced tomatoes, another layer of 3 halved bacon slices, and shredded romaine lettuce. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice.

8. Serve the sandwiches with the Jersey corn on the side, and enjoy!
