While the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Loper may seem like a major victory, there's more to the story. Yes, it overturned the disastrous 40-year-old “Chevron doctrine,” but we need to keep this decision in perspective. The ruling was not unanimous, with strong dissent from justices who hold a gross misinterpretation of our rights and the Constitution. We must be aware that while the Court may get it right at times, it is still influenced by powerful non-elected forces that seek control. That's why we NEED limits on government.
