Lambing Diaries from the 2024 Season: Arya - Jacob Ewe Giving Birth

Arya was in labor at nearly the same time as Setna, just a few feet away. Setna was a bit too far away to film, but Arya being a bold bottle lamb I guess didn’t mind me being so close while she delivered. Unfortunately, she is one of the only ewes with a full tail in the flock, so it’s kind of hard to see what’s going on. At the point I started filming, she had already gotten the waterbag out and had the lamb’s nose/feet presented. Most of the calling she is doing was her being distracted by other lambs crying because she was hoping they were her lamb. Ugly was standing next to me and she kept getting in the way trying to get me to keep petting her 😄
