Fellow REALTORS®, the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina is overwhelming, but together we can provide much-needed relief. Whether you’re in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, or anywhere outside NC, here’s how you can get involved and make a difference.

1. Run Your Own Supply Drive:
If you have the capacity to gather supplies in your area—water, food, diapers, cleaning materials—this is your moment to step up. Copy this post, run your own drive, and once you’ve filled your truck or trailer, contact me. I’ll connect you with emergency management teams and provide you with strategic drop-off points, ensuring your donations reach those who need them most without creating logistical chaos.

2. Donate Funds Directly:
If you can’t run a drive, you can still help by donating! Send funds via Venmo or Cash App, and I’ll personally shop for essential items. Rest assured, I’ll keep everything transparent and show exactly how your donations are being spent. We’re already buying thousands of dollars in water and other urgent supplies, and there’s still so much more to do.

3. REALTORS® Relief Foundation Donations:
If you’d prefer to support long-term housing relief efforts, the REALTORS® Relief Foundation is preparing to offer grants for impacted areas. You can text your donation by sending the word TEAMRRF to 71777 or visit RFF.Realtor. Every penny goes straight to those in need—the overhead is covered by our REALTOR® Association.

Bonus for REALTORS® & Truck Owners:
If you have access to trailers, trucks, or church vans, you can help transport items. Organize your own drive, and when you’re ready to deliver, message me. I’ll get you connected with the right people and places, ensuring we maximize our impact.
