Crispy Pork Belly
Fly away with this crispy pork belly smothered in a hot honey sauce 🐷.
➡️ Ingredients
- Pork belly cut into 4 strips
- Salt
- Pepper
- Hot honey sauce
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
• 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
• 3 tbsp hot honey
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar
• 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
• 2 tbsp minced garlic
• 1/2 tsp Spanish paprika
• 1 tbsp sriracha
• 1/4 lime juiced
• pinch salt and pepper
➡️ Directions
- Score the skin side of the pork belly.
- Top with salt and rest uncovered overnight in the fridge.
- Mix all of the sauce ingredients.
- Coat all sides of the strips with the sauce.
- Pat dry the skin side and top with more salt.
* I didn’t do this but recommend placing on a wire rack on the tray so the pork isn’t sitting in the sauce.
- Bake at 390 degrees F for 1 hour.
- Chop up into bites and dig in.
