New Soo Lock on track for completion

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, announced September 17th that the Soo Locks Project project has substantially completed phase 2, or the upstream approach walls for the new lock. Minor electrical work is expected to be completed by the end of October. The New Lock at the Soo is being built in three phases. The total project continues to be on track for completion in 2030.
