Staring My Miscarriage: Part 1

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. I thought this would be a good time to share an interview I had with a special midwife.

"Plants scatter many seeds and not all become flowers. We are like nature." Such a beautiful quote from Patricia Harman, former Certified Nurse Midwife and award winning author. Patricia/ Patsy was such a beautiful support as my husband and I experienced our first pregnancy as a miscarriage after 25 weeks.

Two years ago, I came upon an old notebook where I journaled about this miscarriage experience. I wrote with my sweet unborn baby girl and she "wrote" back with me. Being an author already, I thought what a loving thing to share and to hopefully provide some comfort and support for the women and families now going through this sad and often devastating experience. Listen how Patsy shares about one of her personal miscarriage experiences and quotes a woman in the doctor's waiting room saying, "Miscarriage---hmmm, I had one of those once and it took a long time to get over it."
