On September 27, 2024, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah was killed in a southern suburb of Beirut. Nasrallah died under wave after wave of U.S.-supplied 'bunker-buster' bombs dropped on a densely populated area of the Lebanese capital.
