When one takes a first, superficial look at 9 and its promotional material, one is inclined to think that it is for children, with a slightly darker feel.
Critics summed it up as being “eye candy with little substance”.
They may have understood the in-your-face “too much technology is bad” message, but its deeper, esoteric message was probably missed by most.
