In this video, Shirley talks about the practice of humbugging (an Aboriginal slang term that means making unreasonable demands on one's family or friends) and how it affects modern society. Shirley's aim is to bring more awareness to the challenges in remote communities, it's her belief that if we can't talk about it, we can't fix it.

Shirley Crane is an experienced educator currently teaching in Katherine, NT, Australia. She grew up in far north Queensland and has spent much of her teaching career working with Aboriginal communities.
