Escaping an EXPLODING Planet!

In the epic conclusion of our Halo Wars series, Sergeant Forge makes the ultimate sacrifice to stop the Covenant from seizing the Forerunner fleet hidden within the Shield World. Forge takes the FTL drive into the heart of the shield world’s sun, preparing to detonate it and destroy the entire planet. Meanwhile, the Spirit of Fire crew has only 30 minutes to disable the shield protecting the escape portal before the detonation.

The tension ramps up as all remaining Covenant and Flood forces converge on the portal, leading to one of the largest and most intense battles in the entire campaign. Our objective is to secure six shield generators scattered across the battlefield, fending off relentless enemy attacks as we fight to give the Spirit of Fire a chance to escape. Every second counts as we coordinate our forces, defend key points, and race to take down the shield generators before time runs out.

As Sergeant Forge prepares for his final act of heroism, the crew of the Spirit of Fire makes their final escape. With the FTL drive destroyed, the ship can no longer travel faster than light, leaving them stranded in deep space. The mission ends with the crew entering cryo sleep, their fate unknown for 28 long years until the Spirit of Fire reappears in Halo Wars 2—an adventure we will continue on this channel in the future.
