Iran Attacks Israel with Ballistic Missiles

Sirens sounded all over Israel Tuesday night as ballistic missiles flared overhead. Millions of Israelis were directed to hide in bomb shelters while Iran sent about 200 missiles over Israel.

Israel’s Iron Dome intercepted most of the missiles, but some managed to get through and make impact in the central and southern parts of the nation, according to the Israel Defense Forces. But no fatalities were immediately reported.

However, at least six people were killed in a shooting in Tel Aviv during the rocket attack. Police say it was an act of terrorism.

Iran called its missile attack on Israel today “legal, rational, and legitimate.”
