1. They both did fine--both better than expected.
2. The tenor and tone was much like the more polite debates of the past.
3. I wish these two guys were running for president instead of Harris and Trump.
4. No, it won't change the minds of diehards, but it might for the "reasonable middle" voters who have swung elections since Bill Clinton's time. Perhaps these two guys made both Harris and Trump seem a bit more reasonable.
