Welcome to Fusion Foundations. A course that has been in the making for over a year. The goal is to create the course I wish I had when starting to learn Fusion. This course will teach you everything you need to know, on how to create stunning visual effects and motion graphics in Fusion. This course is designed for the beginner to intermediate artist, to get you prepared to learn advanced visual effects.

Whether you are a YouTuber, Hobbyist, Independent Filmmaker or even a Professional who wants to learn Fusion, this course is for you. Each section starts out with a basic level explanation and quickly accelerates to intermediate level visual effects.

The full course is made up of 4 different courses in one. Essentials, 2D Compositing, 3D Compositing and The Reference. This course is very dense with information and also plenty of tips and tricks. For those not interested in the full course, there are standalone options available for 2D Compositing, 3D Compositing or even Both.

The first course, Essentials, goes over all the basics of using Fusion. Going over everything from the interface and menus to image processing and color management.

The next part of the course is 2D compositing. Which will go through all of the major 2D compositing disciplines. From tracking, animation and paint to motion graphics, keying and finishing techniques. And At the end of this section we will take a look at several real world examples from start to finish.

Then we have the 3D Compositing course. Which goes through everything from How to setup and render a 3d scene, 3D motion graphics and camera tracking to 3D compositing live action, particle systems and Projection mapping. The 3d compositing course also includes multiple real world examples from start to finish.

And finally the reference. An ongoing collection of videos to explain or refresh your memory on different nodes and processes inside of Fusion.
