Protect Yourself and Your Information From Scammers

This video is for educational purposes to help people identify when a scammer is targeting them and how to gather information to find out for sure. Wide spread data breaches happen every day and it’s hard to keep up with them all. It’s important to protect your information and know when a email, phone call or text message is from a possible scammer. Spam blockers are available through most phone companies and there are also paid apps you can purchase that will block known spam phone numbers and robocalls. The websites I used in the video are also only for educational purposes. This video was made by me and the content in the video is shared under Fair Use under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research.
