This is not to insult all unions. In some industries, unions are crucial to workers being paid a fair.wage. But the East Coast dockworkers union strike that started on September 30, 2024 is, in all likelihood, going to cripple the United States economy. Empty shelves, higher prices and unrest because of these is going to get ugly.

When the shit hits the fan, you can thank your local dockworker. And more to the point, the union bosses who don't give a rat's ass about anyone but themselves.
