ICSTATION Magnetic Pendulum Kit Build

This kit goes together easily but we think the Hall sensor was defective. We ordered a pack of 20 @ a3144 hall sensors and had luck with one of those.

This is a really cool kit when it works but we don't recommend it based on our experience with the Hall sensor and the polarity of the magnet.

Also we didn't mention in the video but the Hall sensor has polarity with the labeled side away from the electromagnet.

Among the 20 we ordered they varied in how close they needed to be to the magnet to activate so probably they're just finicky anyway. But once you get it to work its a real kick and will keep working for a long time.
