The Ghoul

The Ghoul is a mythical creature that feeds on corpses. Stories about the corpse-eater are told in Persian-Arabic culture and in Europe. According to the stories, corpse eaters have donkey hooves and dog-like facial features. They live together underground near cemeteries. The female ghoul is called a ghula.
Ghouls often appear as evil demons in various books and films.
There are also numerous games in which they appear.
