Ramsis Retro Longplay | Shining Force on the Sega Genesis, our long playthrough series takes on another great one. The original, the first, the one that started it all, the 1993 turn based, strategic, tactical fighting experience on the Sega Genesis known as .. Shining Force! Often copied, never duplicated, the OG and first one that was on the Genesis will be played in its entirely here.

Another one of Ramsis favorite games growing up. Shining Force is one of those interesting and special games that takes RPG but does it in a very unique and interesting way. 30 battles in total fill the game and each battle can take up to an hour to get through as you have to figure out what party to build, who will defeat who and how to survive while trying to take down the forces of evil and meet objectives all the while.

This is going to be a fun playthrough that takes a look back at the original Shining Force entry found on the Genesis and led to so many more to follow in the Shining series. A series still going strong to this day.
