Fall Railfanning west of the Hudson River! Featuring CSX, Metro North & NJ Transit!

Featuring 10/3/24. With some time off from work, we ventured out to do another railfanning trip! This time, we did a West of Hudson excursion. We returned to Fort Montgomery to see a couple of freights trains. Afterwards, we went to a new destination to see the rush hour on New Jersey Transit! There was plenty of trains to see where we ended up at for the rush hour which was Ramsey NJ Transit Station. Yes you do see the Metro North Hudson Line across the river at Mine Dock Park in Fort Montgomery so that is why Metro North's Hudson Line and Amtrak's Empire Corridor are featured in this video even though they are on the east side of the river. That fact just makes this video more fun! You get plenty of vintage EMD train power in this video too! Enjoy!
