Diplomacy Is Not An Option | The Ultimate Tower Defence Strategy Game

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out an excellent new Indie City Defense game called Diplomacy Is Not An Option on Steam.

Diplomacy Is Not An Option is a mix of Tower Defence, City Builder and Real Time Strategy, taking place in a Medieval World, where the player controls the Ruler of a small kingdom. Youll engage in a number of scenarios, defending your people against rival kingdoms, armies of hungry undead and the never ending waves of angry peasants greedy for gold. Youll need to balance your workforce and economy against the needs for defences. Youll gather wood, mine and farm to supply your kingdom with
recources, build an infrastructure through researching and trading and construct buildings to raise an army for the inevitable attack. Players are free to manage their methods of defence, choosing from a traditional army of knights and cavalry, preparing high walls, towers and archers, or utilizing explosives and traps to crush your enemies. The game also features a powerful array of magical spells which youll need to utilize to stand a chance of surviving overwhelming odds

While Diplomacy Is Not An Option is still in development, with the Campaign still in progress, the game already has a massive amount of additional content, with challenge levels and a sandbox mode where you can choose from a wide array of scenarios. The game is fantastically optimised, allowing for thousands of units on screen at a time to provide a true epic defence experience. Best of all, the game has huge replay value, and is one of the most challenging defence games ive ever played.

I highly recommend this to fellow strategy fans who enjoyed games like They Are Billions, Kingdoms and Castles and Age Of Darkness
