The Gate To The Mind's Eye - Dolby (1994) -animation collection

I think this is Thomas Dolby's best work. I reposted, finding a higher res version (it seems it is) at https://archive.org/details/gatetothemindseyedvd
it might grab you, and before you know it, it's ending. I just re-watched the whole thing.
-There are so many screen grabs I could use, settled for a Rumble suggested one. AMazing collection of animators and Dolby must have had laser focus writing the score to the imagery.
The film is made up of various computer artists separate unrelated promo vids, quite advanced for the early 90s ...the credits are long - the last 10 mins of the movie! (dozens of animators, to a medley of the film.)
That Thomas put then all together into a cohesive production is a stroke of pure genius.

Rumble, I think, limits resolution to 480p. IDK if it's higher at archive, but seems so.
DEFINITELY listen through a stereo system, big speakers, surround sound best! - it is high fidelity stereo with big separation of sound images. Play it loud. Wake your neighbors! :_) 'Armageddon,' the opening song willl.

Many great pieces of sonic travel into the mind's eye./stands alone -without the video! - but the video is pretty impressive given the release date, before cellphones became super huge.

Dolby IS a musical genius, but not a political one. You can't have it all, they say.
The CD version is much different, w/o the film's sound effects.
