OLDMANPCGAMER ~ HOW I PICK MY NEXT NEW GAME(S) - (no commentary).

TODAY I NEED A NEW GAME(s) - How I CHOOSE!
Good day, all my fellow PC game lovers!

As you can see from my video game history, when I get a game that I love, I play it for 100s, and some 1000s of hrs.

But how do I pick my "next/new game(s)?

1.) I get my new games almost exclusively via Steam for last 15 yrs or so.
2.) I always "WISHLIST" any game I find interesting.
3.) At this point, I AVOID 90% of EARLY ACCESS GAMES - exceptions like MANOR LORDS.
4.) Steam has 4 sales a year w huge discounts, but there are weekly discounts too. I check my "WISHLIST" almost daily to see what is hugely discounted.
5.) Most games are 80% within 2 yrs, and unless I really want it (like Baldur's Gate 3), I wait.

HOWEVER , when none of my "old" games (even unplayed ones), just don't do it 4 me = I NEED A NEW GAME / GAME(S) NOW, here is how I choose =

1. Go through a few Steam "Discovery Queue's" and WISHLIST newfound contenders.
2. Go back and watch the vids and read the comments on these new contenders.
3. Looking for hrs played and overall rating and #of comments = can make or break my decision.
4. Narrow it down to 1-3 new choices.
5. Add to cart/purchase === Giddy up = NEW GAME(s)
