GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!
I have to say guys, that I am a little bit familiar with Andrew van der Bijl, so not knowing about his book, but also through a Christian comic book of the same title. The people that helped with his autobiography, John and Elizabeth Sherrill, are the same people who helped co-write Corrie Ten Boom’s The Hiding Place, and like Corrie, it's because God used a man like Andrew, to take the gospel into hostile places, that the name of Jesus still proclaimed, and I'm very grateful for that. I think that's why I find it so powerful, and so encouraging to be able to read this morning's scripture, first and foremost without fear of somebody barging in my door and hauling me away because I've got a Bible! I'm grateful to live in a country where I am free to read God's word and live out my faith! It's also why I am very grateful for what God's word says in that it's not by anything we do or say, not by our physical prowess, intellect, or abilities that things are accomplished, but it's through God's spirit and might.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me out of this morning scripture, especially on what it means to fully rely on God, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, encourages you to see that it's through Christ's strength, power, and might that you can do anything. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and they pray that they help you to see how important it is to rely on God's strength and not your own for everything that you face.

How can you rely on God's Spirit?

How might the vision of the olive tree supplying the lamps with oil encourage you?

My prayer for all of you through this passage of scripture, and what I share through this vlog tonight, is that you choose to seek God's wisdom and guidance and choose to rely on God's power and might to accomplish His plans for your life over your own and watch how God works! Don't let the discouragement, opposition, or whatever it is Satan tries to put in your way and choose to fully rely on God for everything that comes your way and in your life. Remember guys, that in Christ you can do anything, you just need to be willing to let Christ work in you.
