National Gun Conference 2024 (Replay)

THE FIRST NATIONAL GUN CONFERENCE took place on 4th August 2024.

We heard from former senators David Leyonhjelm and Nigel Scullion about the challenges faced by Aussie shooters, then from Tom Kenyon, CEO of SSAA National, Senator Bridget McKenzie, SUA National Vice President, David Brown and Jake McCoull from the Libertarian Party (WA).

There were some technical issues along the way but the conference achieved what we had set out to do, which was to 'prove the concept' of a national discussion around the problems we are experience in every state and territory for the benefit of other key players in our industry.

It's a three hour event, so we will develop a series of excerpts that will help shooters better understand how we can deal with this problem, and help shooting organisations how they can be part of this exciting but necessary initiative.

This is just the first such event. We are already looking at planning for the second National Gun Conference, with the eventual aim of making this an in-person event that is also streamed for every shooter.
